Rachelle M. Sanders

I am an ICF-certified, experienced Executive Coach based in Sydney and New York, working with clients across the United States and around the world. Having coached and mentored over the years in corporate and nonprofit organizations, I chose to elevate my credentials, earning my Executive Coaching Certification at New York University and ACC credentials with the International Coaching Federation (ICF). A longtime member of the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) community, I am also certified in 360-degree assessments through the CCL program.

I launched Personal Best Executive Coaching in 2019 just before the pandemic. Friends and colleagues thought it might not be the best moment but I believed otherwise. I am happy to report that my instincts were correct and the results of formalizing my coaching practice have been brilliantly rewarding.

Personal Best Executive Coaching is a name I chose with purpose. It is a highly competitive world. Yet in my coaching I am partnering with leaders who define their own success, who set their own goals and who determine how they will know when they’ve achieved them.

I, myself, am the beneficiary of excellent coaching and I was drawn into the academic nature of skilled coaching, where neuroscience and behavioral theory meet effective communication, empathy and partnership. This isn’t just positive talk; this work is backed by years of scientific research into how we think, how we adapt and how we change.

In addition to coaching, I am a recognized leader in global philanthropy and marketing with over 25 years of experience in sectors spanning healthcare, education, science and strategic communications. I served for 10 years as Vice President and Chief Development Officer for Montefiore Health System and Albert Einstein College of Medicine—a nationally recognized academic medical center with a $8 billion economy based in the Bronx, New York.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communications from Boston University and a Master of Arts in Public Policy from Trinity College – Hartford.
